Summer Upcycling – CJV

In July, React VLC organized 12 workshops in collaboration with the Council of Youth of the City of Valencia, Spain. Over 200 young boys and girls with fewer opportunities, attending a summer camp, participated in an upcycling workshop. They learned the basics of upcycling and collaborated to create toys and art from discarded water bottles.

Youth workers were also trained and introduced to the e-learning platform developed during this project. This platform will be a valuable tool not only for the remainder of the summer camp but for future activities as well, more than 20 youth workers were reached during the activity days.

We are thrilled to showcase the wonders of upcycling and provide an opportunity for young kids to have fun and learn by working with their hands.
