One of the main challenges of these youth workers is the lack of motivation of the young people they work with, caused by a series of social, political and economic factors that are beyond their reach. This results in many of these youth workers not being able to see the opportunities available to them, which prevents them from continuing to develop the quality of their work, especially in a booming digital world that often outpaces them, having grown up in a generation that was not so focused on technology and the digital world.
On the other hand, the importance of climate change and the environmental crisis is also on everyone’s lips, but no resources are offered to alleviate it. We think that one of the best ways to do this is to raise awareness about the large amount of solid waste that we generate with the objectives of reducing it and start reusing it to create objects with a new useful life and added value, being able to generate green entrepreneurship with these. We want to help the fight against climate change in a creative and artistic way, as we firmly believe that art and creativity are tools for social communication of important messages that can be understood by all generations and that it is becoming increasingly necessary to apply it to environmental and sustainability issues, using waste as raw material instead of using new materials.
Therefore, this project addresses these two challenges creatively by adding a manual and artisanal part, such as Upcycling and artistic recycling and converting one of the environmental problems most concerned at the European level, such as the management of solid urban waste, into a business opportunity for young people through these waste transformation techniques, which also does not require a large initial investment because waste is used as raw material
Creating a web platform that allows youth workers to use upcycling and artistic recycling as a tool with their young people.

The project’s first activity aims to provide the educational and creative bulwark for the project’s foundation. The main methodology and approach is
that of non-formal education, in which active participation and individual learning with practical knowledge applied after completing each learning
objective of the three independent modules will be key. The web platform will be available in each of the partners’ languages and in English,
maximising this tangible project outcome’s impact and exploitation potential. The inclusion of all these languages aims to increase the accessibility for young people with fewer opportunities, as we are aware that language can be a major barrier to self-expression.
The e-learning environment hosts the project material and provides members
access to stakeholders, networking possibilities, etc
