In July, React VLC organized 12 workshops in collaboration with the Council of Youth of the City of Valencia, Spain. Over 200 young boys and girls with fewer opportunities, attending a summer camp, participated in an upcycling workshop. They learned the basics of upcycling and collaborated to create toys and art from discarded water bottles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Youth workers were also trained and introduced to the e-learning platform developed during this project. This platform will be a valuable tool not only for the remainder of the summer camp but for future activities as well, more than 20 youth workers were reached during the activity days.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are thrilled to showcase the wonders of upcycling and provide an opportunity for young kids to have fun and learn by working with their hands.<\/span><\/p>\n
